  I am a new CPA, and am ashamed at the attitude and level of service I received. I used their office after becoming an accountant because I had for so long under under the old ownership. I will be filing my own returns from now on, and advise against trusting them to add value without considerable oversight on your own part.

  When the firm was sold to May and O'Neill, I assumed the same level of detail would be paid to my needs. I explicitly stated I had purchased my first home. It wasn't till the next year I realized the home buyers tax credit was not applied. When I pointed out the oversight, the response was a series of poorly worded, unprofessional messages with what appeared to be no effort.

  I had items missed on my tax return, very poor customer service and dismissive contact from the ownership when i brought my concerns forward.

  After clearly communicating my dissappointment through several messages over several weeks, Mr. Mah offered me $50 discount on next year's return. Any accountant would know that money now is worth more than money later, so a discount in a year for shoddy services is an insult after a year and a half delay in $750 tax credit and an overcharge to fix their own mistake.
